Driveway Restoration

Cleaning, repair and aftercare

Driveway Restoration

A practical restoration service for driveways needing more than washing, including localised repairs, relifting and joint care.

A considered approach

Restore the driveway as a working surface.

Cleaning often exposes the actual condition of a driveway. Sunken block paving, loose edges, failed joints and poor drainage falls require practical repair rather than cosmetic treatment.

With 25 years in building and landscaping, RMS can assess the clean and the construction beneath it as one connected job.

Localised block relifting

Sunken blocks can be lifted, the underlying level corrected and the area carefully relaid where practical.

Edge and movement checks

Loose restraints, spreading joints and local settlement are identified and discussed.

Cleaning and re-sanding

The restored surface is cleaned and jointing sand replenished after suitable drying.

Sealing options

A compatible sealer may be considered after repairs, cleaning and weather-dependent curing.

Typical faults

Sunken paving and failed joints

Low spots can hold water and accelerate movement. We can relift localised sunken block paving, correct the bedding and reinstate the blocks. Failed or empty joints are then replenished as part of the agreed restoration scope.

Extensive structural failure or major drainage alteration is assessed separately and clearly explained.
