Block paving in Hucknall: the cleaning stage in photographs
This job shows what cleaning can achieve before any further joint treatment. We removed accumulated grime and algae from a returning customer’s block-paved driveway in Hucknall, working along the edges as well as the main paved area. The clean photograph was taken while the blocks were wet. Our post offers re-sanding once fully dry; these photographs record the cleaning stage.
Identify the work that washing cannot do
Small dips, rocking blocks and open edges may need attention beyond cleaning. Show them in the enquiry and explain when you first noticed the problem if you know. We can discuss a suitable restoration assessment and keep those repairs separate from routine cleaning and joint maintenance. Results depend on the existing paving.
Can you assess local repairs without replacing the whole drive?
Local lifting and relaying may be suitable where the existing paving can be retained. The condition and cause of movement need assessment before the repair scope is confirmed.
